The Glass Menagerie - inventing a sound for the beautiful play

My album Music Inspired By the Glass Menagerie will transport you back in time to St. Louis in the late 1930’s.

I wrote it for a theatre production of the famous play here in New Zealand. It was directed by Jef Hall-Flavin, director of the Tennessee Williams Festival in the USA. Since then it's been used several times for other productions of the play in the US. It seems to strike a cord with theatre directors and audiences across the globe.

Are you following your dream?

Are you following your dream?

As an example, one of my goals was to make soundtracks for film and theatre. So why not go to the biggest and most successful theatre company in the country to start with? That's the Auckland Theatre Company. And surprise surprise, it wasn't that hard to get a chance to write music for the play The Gift back in 2012.
